Britt gets her DRIVING PERMIT!!

It's true...sad...but true.
My baby girl passed her driving exam today and is now officially toting an Arkansas Driving Permit. Her head is so big that I had to grease the doorway for her to enter the house!

She is really having a "coming of age" summer.
Last week, we opened a debit account for her. (In my name too.)
She is now sitting on pins and needles for her debit card to come in the mail. She checks the mail about 1 each day waiting for the mail that doesn't come until 2 pm. She is convinced that it will come early. HA!
Since she is going to Texas late this year, we decided to let her show some responsibility and do her own school clothes shopping--EEK!! The most convenient way to do that was through a debit card. Phillip and I also thought it would be a good way to teach her about managing her own money and balancing a checkbook.
A bonus to her getting the card, we went to the DMV to get her a picture ID. This was needed just in case she gets carded using her debit card.

So, in a matter of one week, Britt has acquired a bank account with a debit card, a photo ID and a driving permit. DAG NAB IT!!

What happened to my sweet, little, innocent baby girl?
PUBERTY HAPPENED!
