Where to begin?
Yesterday SUCKED!!

We set the alarm for 3 am.
I suffer from insomnia if I am stressed out, so guess what? I laid down at 11:30 (not sleepy) and probably began to doze around midnight.
The phone rang at 2:30 am.
It was DaBin's mom. Phillip answered and told her that she was asleep.
He decided to go ahead and get up. I did not, but could not go back to sleep. So, after 15 minutes of rolling over and trying to relive the dream that I was having, I gave up and got out of bed.
I was a bit surly due to the fact that I was about to leave my "daughter" at the airport.
The kids were all VERY cranky.
Needless to say, we left the house on time, 3:30 am.
We got to the airport at 4:30ish and there was a line a mile long to check in. There was some sort of youth group going somewhere and we were at the tail end of all these teenagers and their folks. I was not in the mood to see tons of people and that just made my day!
(Told you I was cranky.)
I went to the car with Cori and Nikki and we sat there while the others stood in the never-ending line.
I sat there and balled while the little ones fell asleep.
IT SUCKED!
I pulled myself together to answer my phone. It was Britt telling me to come in and that they were checking in.
When we three entered the airport, DaBin was just checking in and so we went to the security line. I took Nikki to the bathroom and balled to some more.
When we came out, DaBin was just about to go through security, so we gave our final hugs.
I felt like I was saying goodbye. Ya know how you can say goodbye to someone and it really just feels like, "See ya later?" Well, this felt like goodbye.
I tried to smell her hair and clothes and overall scent so I could commit it to memory. I also tried to memorize the feel of her body as I squeezed and held tight. My chest began to heave in and out and I knew that if I did not let go right then, I would lose it completely.
I am Mom.
I need to be the strong one.
Right?
She finished her passage through the gate and they called the final boarding for her plane to Houston.
Our entire crew; Phillip, Brittni, Nikki, Cori and DaBin's bff Jessa, all hustled outside to watch the plane fly off.
We lucked out. She was riding a puddle jumper and had to board on one of those "stairs on wheels" things. So, she had her Jackie Kennedy moment and turned and waved at the top of the stair case. Cori LOST it! She was sobbing uncontrollably. I tried to smother her pain in my belly by holding her tight (that is where her face hits). She just could not turn it off.
We looked at all the windows closely for any sign of DaBin. Eureeka! She sat in a window seat on our side of the plane. So, for the remainder of the ground prep, or whatever it is they do at airports, we made faces and hand gestures at her and she at us.
Jessa cried and Cori balled. Phillip did his man tears thing and Nikki wept. I let a few drop, but held strong for the most part.
We watched the plane take off and that was it.
No more DaBin.

I spent the rest of the day in a sort of fog. Phillip and I discussed it and he felt the same way too.
I could not sleep. Everyone took a nap, but I could not sleep.
I was worried about her catching all of her connecting flights.
She called me from the Houston airport, but the pay phone reception was terrible and I could barely hear her.

She called me this morning at 9 am our time, 11 pm hers. She arrived at 7 pm her time and then went and ate "some Korean food."
Her entire family was there except her dad. He was still at work, but they were all very happy to see her. They said she looked Filipino, because of her tan. HA!!
(She has been really working on it too.)

Well, I will not let the girls infiltrate DaBins' space yet. They want to dissect her remains. She left all kinds of knick knacky stuff. Am I retarded or what?!
I did the same thing when Lais left.
"Leave her stuff alone!" I told them.
Now, they want to explore the forbidden room that belonged to DaBin.
She was very picky about her "stuff" and people being in her space.
I am just not used to letting them do that. I have guarded that room from my savages for so long that I have to make my brain realize that I am being STUPID.

Anyway, this is my yesterday and today.
The crying has come in spurts today, but is pretty controllable for the most part.

Thanks to those of you who have called. I do appreciate it. Sorry if I bit any ones' head off yesterday. I was running on fumes and a broken heart. I am sure you understand.

Well, smooches and ciao!
